Born on February 21st 1979 at Kings Daughters medical Center in Ashland Kentucky to two Apostolic Holy Ghost filled parents. Born prematurely and crippled in his right leg and very sick Bro. Sprks Dad and Mom believed God and Bro. Sparks leg was healed at 8 days old at the paramount arts center where the late Evangelist R.A West was preaching and laid hands on Bro. Sparks and God healed him.
Although reared up as a child under the ministry of R.A West and although attending the United Pentecostal Church where he was raised as a youngster, Bishop Sparks walk with God began on January 23rd 1991 by the side of His daddy's bed where he knelt down and cried out to God in Repentance. In May of 1991 Bishop Sparks was water baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance.
In July of 1991 Bro. Sparks was called to preach in a vision where the Lord appeared to him and called him as a 13 year old teenager to preach the revelation of Jesus Christ and Salvation in and through the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12).
Although Apostolic in Faith, Bro. Sparks parents were no longer attending church and Bro. Sparks ministry began in the Church of God (Cleveland Tennessee) in Cattletsburg Ky. After preaching several times to the youth group Bro. Sparks approached the pastor to ask if he could minister to the congregation and the pastor wouldn't let him because and this is a quote "I cant let you because your Jesus Only".
This was the greatest thing spoken to Bishop Sparks because he left and ran to the local United Pentecostal Church in Ashland where the late Rev. George O. Cumpton was Pastor. This proved to be the Lord directing Bro. Sparks because Bro. Cumpton mentored Bro.Sparks and helped him to develop his calling in God. Bro. Sparks attended there for 7 years.
In 2000 Bro. Sparks was licensed with the ALJC and Pastored the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Ashland Kentucky before entering Evangelism again and has been Evangelizing ever since. In 2005 Breaking the Silence International Evangelistic Ministries Inc was organized and became a non profit organization in the state of Kentucky with ministers and friends all over the world. Bishop Sparks in the fall of 2008 answered the call to begin a Home Missions Church in Summit (Ashland) Kentucky. Services are held in Bishop Sparks' home and the power of the Holy Ghost is being poured out.
Bishop Sparks is Ordained and set apart as the Bishop of Kentucky by Jesus Christ Apostolic Ministries International. This appointment that has been mandated by God is answer to prayers and the leading and direction the Lord has lead Bishop Sparks in the past few months. Together we are seeing God bring Revival to his people. He is reviving a people among the rubbish of tradition and indifference to present to Himself a bride without spot or wrinkle or blemish or any such thing.
Bishop Sparks is also serving as an Associate Minister at Deliverance Tabernacle Church UPCI in Huntington West Virginia. The Lord has used our ministry to encourage and edify the saints of deliverance tabernacle and God is bringing to this church Revival. Bishop Sparks is also currently enrolled as a student attending Biblical Apostolic University where he hopes to not only earn a doctorate degree but a PhD in Christian Counseling.
Bishop Sparks is married to Melissa Sparks and has two sons. Ronnie 7 years old and Elijeh 17 months old.
